Xark participated in a focused workshop aimed at strengthening India’s Gallium Nitride (GaN) ecosystem, bringing together stakeholders from academia, strategic sectors, startups, industry, and investors. Participants included leading institutions such as Indian Institute of Science, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, and Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee; strategic organizations including Semi-Conductor Laboratory and Solid State Physics Laboratory; and industry participants such as Texas Instruments India and Uno Minda.
Discussions focused on RF and power GaN advancements, domestic value chain development, and emerging wide-bandgap device architectures. The workshop underscored the importance of coordinated e orts across research, policy, and industry to accelerate India’s semiconductor capabilities.
